A Russian friend of Silvio Berlusconi has defended the Italian Prime Minister - who is in the middle of a sex scandal over alleged paid sex with an underage dancer - saying that he is so attractive that he doesn't need to pay for sex.
Raisa Skorkina, a former model, said she first met Berlusconi on Sardinia in 2004 when they swapped numbers, and that he phoned her the next day.

She said she did not have enough words in her vocabulary to describe the 74-year-old politician''s general goodness, saying he helped her with money, advice, and "with everything".
"I cannot tell you the whole truth," the Telegraph quoted Berlusconi as telling Russian daily paper Komsomolskaya Pravda.
"Now, me and him are just good friends. For me Silvio is my second family. He is my guardian angel," she added.
When asked whether Berlusconi needed to pay for sex as his critics have alleged, she sprung to his defence.
"He totally does not need to do that. He is very handsome and regardless of the fact that he is well advanced in his years he is very sexy."
