Though there no official word on the matter yet, after the current team owner Leslie Alexander announced recently that he is keen to sell the basketball franchise valued at around £1.2b, it is learnt that Beyonce has shown keen interest in the deal. And Rockets' shooting guard, Trevor Ariza said it would be fun to work with Beyonce, who is married to rapper Jay Z.
"That would be lovely. She'd be a cool owner," Ariza told TMZ Sports. "But I have no say so in that matter," he added. Rockets' legend Kenny Smith felt Beyonce's involvement would do wonders to NBA's fan base. He said that Beyonce's entry would "inspire little girls who want to be part of the NBA."
