Bhupathi-Myneni clinch ITPA Doubles Masters title

The pairing of senior pro Mahesh Bhupathi and rising star Saketh Myneni won the Indian Tennis Professional Association's (ITPA) Doubles Masters tournament yesterday beating Rohan Bopanna and Vishnu Vardhan 8-5 at Khar Gym.

Bhupathi especially was in top form, hitting great winners to win crucial points.

The ITPA initiative also saw a unique event where amateur players from Khar Gym got an opportunity to play with professionals like Bhupathi, Bopanna and Somdev Devvarman in the ‘Pro–Am clash’ through an auction that was held on Saturday night. Bopanna won the highest bid followed by Bhupathi.
