Both of them were in judicial custody in connection with the blast case and were today arrested in theft case.

The two were remanded in police custody by a Magistrate, after they were produced before the Mazgaon Metropolitan Court, he added.

The two vehicles were later recovered from Bihar by the ATS after the arrest of Naquee and Nadeem in the blast case.

According to police, the accused had plans to use the vehicles for future terror activities. Along with Naquee and Nadeem, police had arrested Kanwar Pathrija, Haroon Naik and Mohammed Qafeel Ansari in connection with the 13/7 blasts case.

Nearly a year after the triple bomb blasts shook the city killing 27 people and wounding many others, the Maharashtra ATS had filed 4700-page charge sheet in a special court last Friday against 10 members of Indian Mujahideen, including its top operative Riyaz Bhatkal, who is believed to be hiding in Pakistan.
