Last Friday, a total of four films released at the box office: 'Hasee Toh Phasee', 'Ya Rab', 'Heartless' and 'Babloo Happy Hai'. Of the four, it’s only the Sidharth Malhotra-Parineeta Chopra starrer that has done well so far. Aided by word-of-mouth, the film has grossed around Rs 17 crore in the first weekend; trade pundits now expect it to do well in the second week too. Exhibitor Rajesh Thadani says, “'Hasee Toh Phasee' has recorded the highest collection this week, while collections of Shekhar Suman’s 'Heartless' have touched Rs 75 lakh. Meanwhile, 'Ya Rab' and 'Babloo Happy Hai' have not found any audience yet.”

He adds that it remains to be seen if 'Hasee Toh Phasee' will continue its good run at the BO this week. “Heartless has remained steady, but its numbers have not jumped,” he says.
Buzz has it that HSP being a romantic film, it will do continue to do well this week on account of Valentine’s Day. Trade analyst Amod Mehra says, “The first weekend collection of the film should be around Rs 17 crore. On Saturday, the film’s collection increase by 25 per cent, and Sunday garnered double the earnings on Friday. If the film sustains these figures, it will be a semi-hit.’’
