Celebrating a noble cause

"Only your good deeds will stay forever," this is what actor Juhi Chawla said at Tejpal Hall to a packed gathering that had come to celebrate the birth centenary of late Sarlaben Sheth, founder of the AK Munshi Yojana Trust

The Trust was founded way back in 1960 and does exemplary work for special children, who are mentally challenged from deprived sections of society.

They provide them education, healthcare and various other facilities for a more holistic upbringing. Viveck Shettyy, MD, Indus Communications anchored the show with great flamboyance and had the audience spellbound. Bharati Ganjawalla of the AK Munshi Yojana Trust remembered Sarlaben Sheth while Ketan Kumar and orchestra performed a medley of Juhi songs.

Viveck Shetty also joined the singers in singing. Viveck Shettyy and Dipti Shah (the choregrapher) were felicitated by Juhi Chawla for their efforts. Juhi Chawla and social activist Atul Shah gave away the prizes to the winners.
