Dr. Sharma is supporting this event with a view that every class of society should come together without any status discrimination. According to him, there should not be any segregation when it comes to celebrating festivals.
Ekta Navratri celebrates this event every year where they give free entry to all visitors irrespective of their social status. On the same lines, Dr. Sharma is supporting both the events monetarily to facilitate those people who cannot afford high entry fee. LR Active Ekta Navratri 2012 is being held at Ekta Ground, near R.M Bhattad Marg, Borivali (W) and LR Active Aa Nachle Garba 2012 is being held at V.P.M Sports Club, off new link Road, Dahisar (W) with singers Bhoomi Trivedi, Rajendra Ghadvi, Nayan Rathod and Chandni among others. This event is conceptualised and managed by Hitech Events, Jignesh Bhuta (CEO) the one who started the trend of commercial navratri and now is starting the first ever Non-commercial Navratri.
