One died and four sustained injuries when the car of Yogesh Bhoir, a Congress corporator from Ward no 24, hit them in Khadana area near Hanuman Nagar late on Saturday.
Samata Nagar police said the deceased, identified as Mallikakarjun Kuraiya (48) died on the spot. The injured have been admitted to Sarvoday private hospital.u00a0
The driver fled the spot. The police are investigating whether Bhoir was at the driver’s seat when the accident occurred. u00a0
