'D-Day' promo raises an objection by the Censor Board
Yet another Hindi film has come under the scrutiny of the Censor Board
The board has apparently asked the makers of Nikhil Advani’s upcoming gangster film to edit or mute a particular dialogue in the promo.
Speaking about the film that stars Arjun Rampal, Rishi Kapoor and Shruti Haasan, a source close to the CB says, “The scene has Arjun mouthing the dialogue in context to Shruti, who plays a commercial sex worker. The sentence goes like this -- Woh tum logo ke saath soti hai aur main logo ko sulata hoon.”
The makers apparently had no option but to edit the scene in the trailer.
The board’s assistant regional officer (Mumbai), Amitabh Sharma chose not to respond to our calls.
