Both teams were locked 2-2 at the end of 50-minute regulation time, thanks to a goal each from Sahil Ambedkar and Bryce Miranda for Don Bosco, and Children's Academy's Omkar Bhosle and Jay Parmar.

In the shoot-out, Mihir Patil, Shalom Monteiro, Paul Fernandes and Jonathan D'Souza scored for Don Bosco while Jay, Hemant Fadikar, Akshay Avhad and Piyush Jain were on target for Children's Academy. With both teams tied 4-4, the result had to be decided via sudden death.

Mihir and Jonathan scored for Bosco while Shalom missed the net. For Children's Academy, only Jay managed to find the target.

For Don Bosco, it was sweet revenge as they had lost to the same opponent in the last year's final in the tie-breaker.
