Fed up of his farts, owners return cat to animal shelter
Feline was returned after just two-days for raising a stink at the residence of the family that adopted it; owners claimed Lenny 'farted all the time'
New York: It appears that this feline eats only beans! An unfortunate black and white male cat has been returned to the animal shelter. Reason, he suffers from excessive flatulence.
Gassed out: While returning him, Lenny’s custodians wrote: “He farts all the time.” Representation Pic
The windy moggy was rescued from a New York park in February and nursed back to health at Scottsville Veterinary Hospital and Pet Adoptions in Washington.
He was snapped up as a perfect pet last month, but was returned after just two-days for raising a stink at the
residence of family that adopted it.
The intake papers filled in by his gassed out owners said, “He farts all the time.”
His short-time custodians suggested the frequency and duration of Lenny’s emissions might make him much better suited for an outdoor life.
But staff at the shelter claimed they were yet to experience the feline’s gaseous issues.
Jessica Giehl, Scottsville’s adoptions director, said, “Since he’s been back here, there haven’t been any problems. Clean living and a healthy diet may be the reason for that, but we did still nickname him — Smelly Cat.”
