Hundreds turned out to pay homage to former State Chief Minister A R Antulay during his final rites, which were conducted with full state honours at his native village Ambet in Raigad district of Maharashtra.


Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Raigad MP and Union Minister Anant Geete, Congress leaders Oscar Fernandes, Prithviraj Chavan, Narayan Rane, Legislative Council chairman Shivajirao Deshmukh, Education minister Vinod Tawde, State congress chief Manikrao Thakre, NCP President Sunil Tatkare, Congress leader in Legislative assembly Radhakrishna Vikhe patil were prominent among those present at the funeral.


The 85-year-old Congress veteran passed away here at the Breach Candy hospital yesterday after prolonged illness.
