Germany skipper Philipp Lahm's strong words ahead of tonight's Serbia clash could be too tough to digest for their World Cup rivals.

Goals from Lukas Podolski, Miroslav Klose, Thomas Mueller and Cacau kicked off Germany's World Cup campaign, and skipper Lahm believes his young brigade with an average age of 25 and led by the brilliant Mesut Oezil, tipped to be one of the biggest stars of the tournament, are all set to raise their game from now on.
"These young guys can play very well and every one of them can go one against one. We have a young team that wants to score goals ufffd you could see that against Australia. With this young side we believe we can go far in the tournament, playing the right way. This is my fourth major tournament, it's important for me as captain to help these youngsters. It's an amazing feeling. It can make you nervous but those playing in their first World Cup are much more nervous than me. We have won against Australia but Serbia is tough and an important game for us. We have players like Miroslav Klose, Oezil and Cacau and we're happy that they play for us."
