Mobile wallet Paytm has launched a new toll free number that will enable non-internet users, both customers and merchants to engage in cashless transactions. With this feature, customers and merchants can pay and receive money instantly as well as recharge their mobile connections. This service is for existing Paytm users. After reading this, many may be wandering about how to use this service.

Here is a short and simple guide on how to use Paytm without internt: 

• Customers and merchants need to register their mobile number with Paytm and set a 4 digit Paytm PIN at the time of registration.

• Paytm users can call at 1800 1800 1234 to set their digital Paytm PIN.

• At the time of payment, users can enter the recipient’s mobile number, amount and the Paytm PIN to successfully transfer the money from one Paytm wallet to another.

• Paytm users can dial 1800 1800 1234 and make payment to any Paytm customers without internet connection.

The service is simple and instant. Nitin Misra, senior vice president of Paytm said they are enabling more and more Indian to transact digitally. The company also claimed that currently over a million offline merchants across India accept Paytm as their official mode of payment. Launch of this exciting feature is yet another step by Paytm towards their goal of achieving a cashless India.
