Bathroom bliss
Like many, I am also very particular about bathrooms. I don’t like the idea of others using my bathroom. Moreover, it has to be clean and tidy at all times. I hate wet towels and floors. Whenever I check in at a hotel, the first place I look at is the bathroom and only then am I satisfied.
Lifestyle statement
A bathroom is a very personal space. I don’t believe in the idea that a bathroom need not look as good as the rest of the house. A bathroom is an extension of your home. It reflects your personality like say, your living room. So, I do believe in investing in my bathroom space.
In my own world
I love the space. It is a spot where I ideate. As you know, some of the most brilliant ideas come in the bathroom. I also spend hours looking into the mirror talking to myself. It is a soliloquy. Sometimes, the final decisions happen in the bathroom (smiles). It is also where I do my small make-up experimentations. You know you have the luxury of washing your face instantly if something goes wrong.
Bottles galore
The only untidy thing about my bathroom is my shelf. It has a number of small bottles, jars, tubes, etc (laughs out loud). The number must be more than
50 at least (laughs out loud). But still it’s not that much. I am not as girly as some others (winks).
Time to rejuvenate
Though there’s nothing as lovely as a long hot bath, time is a major constraint. On most days, I have to settle for a quick shower. But I love soaking up for an hour in a bathtub or two when I have a holiday. It completely de-stresses me and soothes the aches and pains. And if I am in a mood to really pamper myself, then I create the ambience with the candles, aromatic oils, bath salts, etc.
