New Delhi: International tennis legend Roger Federer got a taste of India when he feasted on a giant-sized naan (a flat bread made of white flour and baked in a tandoor), served with the usual non-vegetarian and vegetarian accompaniments, and then its traditional desserts at a signature restaurant during his maiden trip to the country.

"Got naan," Federer tweeted yesterday morning along with a photograph in which he's all smiles holding a crisp naan. According to a hotel source, Federer relished the sikandri raan, murgh malai kabab, seekh kabab, tandoori gobi, tandoori aloo, daal bukhara, and naan bukhara at the Bukhara, the restaurant at ITC Maurya.
