Karan Johar says that choreographer Farah Khan is so professional that she refused to take up Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ, 1995), as she was working on another film. "We were shooting for DDLJ when Yash and Aditya Chopra personally called for Farah to choreograph all the songs. It's everyone's dream to work with them at some point in their careers and she was getting the opportunity at an early stage. But she refused to take it up as she had committed to do a Marathi film.

That's the level of commitment she has." Khan choreographed only one song, Ruk Ja O Dil Deewane, for DDLJ.
