Life for 2 in murder case

The Sessions Court in its verdict delivered yesterday sentenced Sunil Prasad Jadhav and a minor (name withheld) to life imprisonment for killing Sachin Nadgadve, whom they had attacked and murdered for his mobile phone and money.u00a0

During the trial, public prosecutor Deepak Ladhe examined 25 witnesses to prove the case. "The First Information Report corroborated with the recovered articles and the reports of the doctors," said Ladhe. The court accepted the argument of Ladhe and sentenced the accused to life imprisonment.u00a0

According to the Oshiwara police, on the evening of March 22, 2010, Mahendra Mayura was using a public urinal when two unidentified persons attacked him.u00a0

Sachin Nadgadve, u00a0and his friend Arun Yadav, who were in the vicinity, u00a0rushed to the rescue of Mahendra. The unidentified men started assaulting them them too with a wooden plank.

According to police reports, Mayura, Nadgadave and Yadav were seriously injured and were rushed to the hospital. Nadgadve succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment in hospital.u00a0
