Results of the Higher Secondary Certificate examinations of Maharashtra were declared today.
The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) results of Maharashtra were declared today at 11am.
The overall pass percentage of the state was 79.95 per cent, while for Mumbai region it was 76.81 per cent, better than last year's 76.14 per cent.

This year 10,98,709 students from Maharashtra state registered themselves for the HSC exams and out of that 10,88,653 appeared. Out of those who appeared, 8,70,430 passed the exams.
While Konkan region displayed the highest pass percentage of 85.55, Aurangabad and Kolhapur followed with 85.26 per cent and 84.18 per cent respectively.
With a pass percentage of 76.81, Mumbai stood eighth among all divisions. The overall pass percentage for Science stream was 87.55, less than last year's 87.85 per cent. Arts had a pass percentage of 67.25 as against 69.35 the previous academic year.
Commerce and vocational courses saw an increase in their pass percentages. 73.16 per cent Commerce students passed this year, up from last year's 71.40 per cent. Pass percentage of vocational stream was 95.90 per cent as compared to 95.01 per cent from the previous year.
