Mallika Sherawat begins shooting for 'The Bachelorette India - Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika' to find her soulmate in second week of August

The sex siren, who features in the Indian version of an international show to find her soulmate, will finally start shooting for it in the second week of August. It was slated to go on air next month but with the actress spending most of her time in the US, things did not take off as planned.

Says a source, “Mallika has given her dates from the second week of August. She is slated to be in Mumbai and as the shoot requires her to be around for the next few months, she has agreed to stay put in the city.” Meanwhile, the auditions have started across the country. Interestingly, the show will encapsulate her journey to find her Prince Charming. Based on the international series The Bachelor, she will present the show with Indian twists.
During the launch event in April, Mallika had stated that she agreed to be part of the reality show because “as a single woman, money is important but this is not the only reason why I am doing the show.” The motormouth also wanted to remind people about a woman’s right to choose her life partner. As reported ‘Waiting for Mallika’ (Hitlist, July 3), the channel was waiting for the sex siren to get back which she finally has.
