This year, you can choose to be jolly at any of the three venues -- Courtyard by Marriott, Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) and Renaissance Hotel -- that are taking the early sledge to some Christmas celebrations.
Munch on Xmas goodies
The Renaissance Hotel started the tradition of a Christkindlesmarket last year, and has planned an entire day of things to do.
The lobby will be transformed into an old style European marketplace, complete with wooden stalls dressed up in red-green buntings. Children can look forward to a host of activities like face-painting and decorating the ginger bread house. You may also join the choir in singing Christmas carols at the Bombay Express.
Pack on those festive kilograms by indulging in some Christmas goodies. Yule logs, Christmas pudding, chocolate Santa's, and ginger bread cookies.

11 feet of gingerbread
The man of the moment, aka Santa Claus will be stopping by Courtyard by Marriott as they celebrate their first Christmas since they opened.
You can play in an 11 feet-high ginger bread house--who cares what people think? Sing along as a local group begins the chorus of Joy to the World and other popular carols.

It's a magical time
The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce at the RWITC has a slightly different approach to the festive season. You can sample some German wine and beer while listening to performances by singer Gary Lawyer and German band Die Sulmtaler (they've flown in from Deutschland). It gets better, a magician, puppets and even a fire-juggler are scheduled to put on their act.
Children can shoot some hoops in a game of basketball, get a paint tattoo and have fun assembling puzzles. Races will continue in full speed at the Turf Club, proceeds of which will go to a charitable cause for the festive season.
