Kothrud auto drivers reveal arrogant side

On Day 5 of Week 4 of MiD DAY and Radio One autorickshaw campaign in association with the traffic police and the Regional Transport Office, 19 offenders were booked.

MiD DAY team visited SNDT College, Paud Road and Karve Putala in Kothrud and asked the drivers to go to certain destinations like Aundh and Magarpatta, but the drivers refused to go and also tried to charge extra.

Kothrud area has more youngsters since there are many colleges. The rickshaw drivers in Kothrud addressed women rudely and they seemed aggressive also. Most of them were least interested in taking passengers to their destinations.
