MSSA badminton: Easy wins for Taarini, Ananya

Taarini Suri of JB Petit high school (Fort) and Ananya Kolte of Bombay Scottish (Mahim) progressed into the third round of the girls under-10 Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school badminton tournament

Taarini Suri of JB Petit high school (Fort) and Ananya Kolte of Bombay Scottish (Mahim) progressed into the third round of the girls under-10 Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school badminton tournament.

Taarini defeated Ameera Dashbutra 15-2 while, Ananya eased past Mihika Iyer 15-5. In the other matches of this group, Arya Gawde, Malishka Dedhia, Nirmiti Gajbhiye and Sarah Susan fought hard to win their respective second round matches.

In the team championship events for the under-16, Arya Vidyamandir (Bandra) will play against Cathedral John Cannon (Fort) in the boys' final while, the girls' final will be played between Balmohan Vidyamandir (Dadar) and Rajhans Vidyalaya (Andheri).
