Aanyaa scored eight points, while Livia scored four. Both girls have been consistent in their performances since last season when they finished among the tournament's leading scorers. Aanyaa and Livia have accumulated 18 and 14 points respectively from just two matches this season. In an earlier encounter, the Scottish side beat Gokuldham High School (Goregaon) 38-0, with the two girls contributing 10 points each.
In the District Sports Office U-13 tournament last September, Aanyaa picked up 18 points while Livia notched up 20 in just three games. They have been rewarded for their performances by being picked for a state-level camp at the Mumbai University Ground in Kalina starting January 22. The girls credit their mutual understanding for the team's success. "In the end, it's not about who scores more points, but about the team's victory," said Aanyaa.
