Rare vintage cars and motor cycles from 1920s will be participating and for those who wish to enter, entries close by Wednesday April 16, 2014.

We hear that a number of cars seen in the Mumbai vintage car fiesta will be in Pune too, once again proving the closeness of the sibling cities. For those who are late, late late you have not sealed your fate. Call: 9819022594 for Swati Nagavkar for entry details.

Hair Apparent
With the Indian Premier League (IPL) beginning tomorrow, fans are gearing up for the action, never mind the match fixing allegations.

This young man called Aditya K from Chennai, who was incidentally spotted in a Dombivali local, is a Chennai Super King (CSK) fan, his head says it all.

Now, all one can say is that at least somebody is batting for M S Dhoni, the beleaguered Indian skipper. And while on that, at least some fans still have faith in the IPL even with all its errant backers and cover ups.

Rajni & NaMo
One of our favourite-est things in the world are Rajni (Rajnikanth) jokes. So, given the current political climate, it is no wonder that Rajni has been dragged into the political scenario too. Recently one saw pictures of Narendra Modi with Rajnikanth. Now, there is a joke going on social media which says: BREAKING NEWS: All parties unanimously agree to support agree to support NaMo unconditionally for the PM post. They said: 'itni chhoti si baat ke liye Rajni Sir ko beech me lane ki kya jarurat thi.'

The addled mind says rewind
SUMMER is here and the livin' ain't easy. Our thoughts turn hazy... and nostalgic. So it is especially apt when readers send us images steeped in the good ol' days with headlines that read: When Mumbai was Bombay.

The Deccan Queen

Here are pictures of the Queen's Necklace (in those days, 10 cars on the street were normal) and 25 cars were a traffic jam.

The other picture is about the Deccan Queen, a coat of quaint from the train that has outlived so many of us. We also have the lady employees of Siemens company.
