Nitro Ice Cream Sundae

The ever-bustling Cypress neighbourhood in suburban Mulund (W) is milling with foodies, and cafés that open (and at times, shut) in rapid succession. Recently, we noticed that three new eateries have been grabbing  eyeballs (especially on Snapchat) for all the right reasons. Here’s a quick dekko:

Nitro Ice Cream Sundae

301°F!
The nitro ice cream parlour has had good run post the opening of its first outlet in Bandra. Head here to try their creamy ice cream rolls (they call them creamlettes), or make your own sundae with innovative ice cream flavours such as Guava Chilli, cheesecake and seasonal fruits. The ice cream is freshly made and frozen in front of you; the chilly nitrogen fumes add to the drama.

Guilt Trip
The second Bandra-origin eatery to open in the area is Guilt Trip. If you are craving for sugar and cutesy cupcakes to tempt and tuck into, this is where you should head to. Other than cupcakes, they specialise in customised
cakes for different occasions and make photo cakes too.

Rekadi Cafe
From pizzas to golas, Rekadi Cafe is keen to give you thela experience in a café format. If you love golas, this might be a paradise, as they offer  25 types of the colourful iced dessert (brain freeze alert!). They have set up a real street cart with colourful syrup bottles to give you the Rekadi vibe. You can also try chilled pani puri, sandwiches and flavoured fries for a total street-style meal.
