A day after SMSes started doing the rounds, claiming Delhi-based tarot card reader Poonam Sethi is running a sex racket, her husband reacts to MiD DAY's report
You can call them the Odd Couple; well they are certainly at odds these days. It's no secret that tarot card reader and socialite Poonam Sethi and husband Sanjay are sharing an embittered relationship, though they continue to live under the same roof.

MiD DAY had reported yesterday how Poonam Sethi was at the Kirti Nagar police station late on Wednesday night to lodge an FIR. Sethi's friends and clients were receiving mobile text messages and emails claiming she was running "a full time sex racket for starved married women from a covert south Delhi rented apartment".u00a0
Friends and associates had claimed that they suspected it to be Sanjay's handiwork. The man himself had clarified that this charge was baseless and he had nothing to do with it. Now, reacting to our news report on Thursday, Sanjay Sethi called up MiD DAY, claiming that the latter part of the SMS, which talks about Poonam's alleged affairs with young boys, is indeed true. "I have caught her red-handed on many occasions," said Sanjay Sethi.
The SMS had claimed that Poonam was having affairs with "young boys, especially from economically weaker sections and her male tarot card clients".
"The young boy is from Orissa and is a domestic servant. This has been going on for a while," Sanjay added. He disclosed a name and said he had all the details. "She is indeed sleeping around and this has hurt me a lot," he said.

| An FIR still eludes Poonam Sethi for which she was prepared to sit inside the Kirti Nagar police station for the whole night on Wednesday. Cops claim that nobody has come forward yet to help the investigations by disclosing that they did receive the SMS. However, Poonam Sethi in her complaint had submitted a long list of phone numbers, some of which belong to people from the influential page3 circuit of Delhi.u00a0 But police sources have claimed that initial investigations have revealed that a theft complaint was already lodged against the number from which the SMSes were being circulated. "It was stolen and somebody is misusing it, but we can't say anything concrete right now," revealed a source in the department. |
