NCP spokesman Atul Londhe joins Congress

NCP spokesman Atul Londhe, considered close to party stalwart and former deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, has crossed over to Congress. He joined Congress in the presence of party vice-president Rahul Gandhi yesterday.

Londhe said that at time when country was witnessing polarisation due to RSS ideology, the Congress under leadership of Rahul is fighting against it.

"I joined the party which has a pan India canvas to contribute in the fight..I consider it my responsibility to join the fight against the RSS ideology," Londhe said today, adding that he did not quit NCP because of any differences.
