Neha Dhupia is conspicous by her absence from the posters of Rensil D’Silva’s upcoming film Ungli which is produced by Karan Johar. The posters which were recently released include the other cast members Emraan Hashmi, Kangna Ranaut, Randeep Hooda, Neil Bhoopalam, Angad Bedi and Sanjay Dutt.

It appears that Neha, who essays a television journalist in the film, has been given the short shrift. Neha was excited to be part of the film as it had taken her a decade to be part of a Karan Johar production. The initial poster had Emraan, Kangna, Randeep, Neil and Angad marching in a definitive swag. The second poster included Dutt.
Says a source, “It was a creative call to not include her in the posters. As the film is about five friends which includes Emraan, Kangna, Randeep, Neil and Angad, the focus was on them and Sanjay Dutt who plays a cop. ”
Neha remained unavailable for comment.
