Buoyed by the audience response to his latest production venture, 'Dishoom', Sajid Nadiadwala is planning a sequel with Varun Dhawan, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Sources close to the producer reveal that the script is ready and the film is likely to roll out by this year-end. A 2017 release is being targeted. A source says, "The makers had a meeting with Varun and John about making 'Dishoom 2', and they couldn't be more excited. At this point, the actors are trying to work out their dates so that shooting can begin at the earliest. Jacqueline will feature alongside them in the next one too."
An official announcement about the sequel is expected later this week. "Since 'Dhoom 4', another film in the same genre [buddy-cop], is likely to be announced next week, Sajid Nadiadwala wants to declare plans of making 'Dishoom 2' before that," adds another source.
