NSFs asked to submit constitution amendment copy

The sports ministry asked all recognised National Sports Federations (NSFs) to furnish a copy of their amended constitution immediately for continuation of their recognition.

In a letter sent to all the NSFs, the ministry said that in case the constitution has not been amended yet, the concerned NSF is requested to expedite the process and bring the proposal for amendment in the next meeting.

The letter said this may be treated as most immediate and a reply in this regard may be sent by January 31. The NSFs were also advised that their recognition may be impacted if the amendments are not carried out. — IANS
