Odisha government today asked all the district collectors and Superintendents of Police to ensure smooth conduct of the matriculation examination.


As many as 5,90,330 examinees are slated to appear for the class 10 examination, conducted by the state's Board of Secondary Education (BSE). The examinations will begin from February 23 and will continue till March 8.


Chief secretary A P Padhi while reviewing preparedness through video conferencing, directed the district authorities to check malpractices during the examination. Padhi said the examinations must be conducted in a peaceful atmosphere.
