A fire that broke out in a multi-storey residential building in south Mumbai's Nagpada area has claimed one life

One dead in fire in residential building in south Mumbai

One person has died in a minor fire that broke out in a residential building in south Mumbai's Nagpada area on Thursday evening. 


The blaze that broke out in ground plus four-storey building around 5.05 pm at Chowkie Mohalla, Nagpada, was brought under control at around 7.00 pm. 


One woman was declared death on arrival at JJ Hospital on Thursday evening, and another person was reported to be seriously injured.


Five fire engines, 3 water tankers and 2 ambulances rushed to the spot.
