One dead, two injured in Agra stampede

One person died and two were injured during a stampede early yesterday morning at the Jeet Singh stadium in Agra where an army recruitment rally was underway

Around 10,000 youngsters had gathered at the ground for the tests, when the pressure from the crowd brought the railing down. In the stampede that followed, some recruits fell on the ground.u00a0The body of the deceased, identified as Dharamvir from Mathura district, was sent for post-mortem and later handed over to his family members.u00a0
