Australia's sports minister Kate Lundy yesterday promised to wear a Team GB shirt and row the Olympic course after losing a bet with her British counterpart
Lundy said she would honour the wager after Australia failed to win more medals than Britain at the London Olympics. With five days to go, Britain are third in the medals table and Australia are 12th.

Her British opposite number, Hugh Robertson, would have had to dribble a hockey ball near Australia House in central London, wearing an Australia shirt, if he had lost the bet.
