India's nightmare at the French Open continued with Leander Paes and his Austrian partner Alexander Peya being dumped out of the men's doubles second round by Mikhail Elgin of Russia and Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan here Saturday.
The seventh-seeded The Indo-Austrian pair lost 4-6, 1-6 in an hour and 11 minutes. India’s hopes now rest in the mixed doubles where fifth-seeded Paes and Elena Vesnina and seventh-seeded Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza are still in the fray.
