Parle Tilak defeated MIG by eight wickets in a low-scoring match to win the inaugural CIA- U-12 Premier League at the Police Gymkhana grounds.
Riding on pacer Dhruv Mahabal’s excellent bowling, Parle Tilak bowled out MIG for a paltry 55 runs in 20 overs. Man of the match Dhruv scalped two MIG wickets while giving away just four runs in five overs. For MIG, Aditya Gole top scored with 18 runs.
Parle Tilak comfortably chased the total in 11.5 overs with Sairaj Surve scoring a 26-ball 25. Sheesh Shetty, who scored 145 runs in 6 matches and took 7 wickets, was named the man of the series.
MIG’s Jayam Birawal (325 runs in five matches) was adjudged the batsman of the tournament while Parle Tilak’s Visharad Pagare walked away with the best bowler award for taking 10 wickets in 6 matches.u00a0
