The Dharavi tour intends to highlight how Asia’s largest slum utilises space through innovative ways. Participants will visit the little shops and establishments where they can check out workers in close-knit communities engaged in leather-work, bakery, embroidery and other forms of small-scale industry. However, carrying a camera along might be a problem and it is advisable to discuss it with the organisers well in advance.
Meanwhile, Two Wheels And The City is a trail that will make a Bandraphile smile. Set to begin at 6 am, interested cyclists will be able to pedal through the empty roads and soak in the sunrise and the sea breeze. Cyclists will make a round trip from Bandra to Worli along the seaface.
The participants will also be provided with a snack and a bicycle (you can bring your bicycle too). The organisers will also provide a cyclist guide, who will lead the participants through the roads to ensure a safe journey.
