DTU students decide to attend classes, but the movement continues with a new rhythm
After street protests, canvassing and social networking, it's time for some song and dance, well at least the former. Protesting Delhi Technological University students have now come up with a novel way to keep their spirits high. Three third year students have composed a theme song-Faasle- for their movement.

The three innovators say they never thought they would contribute much to the protest but their anger flared up when they saw their friends getting lathicharged for raising their voice. "One of my very close friends was brutally beaten up by the Delhi police. He cannot walk properly even now, and one of his shoulders was dislocated. Then I felt that we are students, not criminals. If we have gone ahead with this, then we will not back off. We have created this song to motivate the students and in the video of the songs we have used the images of the protests," Nikhil said.
The students are clear that the song is not to be used for any commercial purposes and they have decided to forward it to all colleges and institutes through social networking websites so that others can come forward and support the cause.
"It is so depressing that more than 95 per cent of the students are protesting for the betterment of the college but we are being treated shabbily. Our song is our voice against the injustice done to the students," said Kshitij Kuldeep, who has conceived the lyrics for the song.
