Rani Mukerji played a tough talking journo in Rajkumar Gupta's No One Killed Jessica
The actress is once again gearing up to play a scribe in Karan Johar’s upcoming film to mark the 100 years of Indian cinema.

Our sources say that KJo considers Rani his lucky charm. An informer says, “Rani will essay a journalist who gets married to Randeep Hooda’s character. However this time her role is not exactly inspired from any real-life incident. She was briefed on her character nuances by Karan.”
Having played a scribe before, Rani apparently didn’t have to spend too much time to prep for the role. The source adds, “She has taken some references from No One Killed Jessica. She did a lot of preparations then and in a way it is helping her now. In fact, she also learnt some mannerisms through her own experience of dealing with the media over the years.”
A spokesperson from the film’s team confirms the buzz.u00a0
