Last year there was a buzz that after the release of 'Khoobsoorat', Rhea Kapoor's beau Karan Boolani will be directing a film for her production house. It was an action film titled 'Saath Hindustani'. Later the film was titled 'Saath' and Anil Kapoor had said that 'Saath Hindustani' was the working title.

Karan Boolani has worked as an assistant director on 'Wake Up Sid' and 'Aisha'. AR Rahman was composing the music of the film and apparently three songs have been already recorded.
A source from the industry tells us that some parts of the film were to be shot in US and apparently the visa of the crew was also done. "The visa was done for around 50 people and the crew was to leave in November end. But due to the extreme weather conditions in US the unit couldn’t leave for the shoot,” the source said.
The crew was told that the shooting has been pushed for sometime as the weather conditions in US at that time were extreme. The film stars Divyendu Sharma along with new comers.
Another source told us, “The film will be going on floors soon, it’s under pre-production. Due to extreme weather conditions the unit didn’t leave for US. Now the makers are trying to figure out a time where they can go and shoot. The director wanted to shoot the film in a particular weather.”
A source close to the makers said, “Not true.”
