Get ready to see Riteish Deshmukh in an all-new avatar. The actor has purchased a cricket team that is part of the Celebrity Cricket League. Incidentally, Riteish was the vice captain of the Mumbai Heroes team owned by Sohail Khan

The league was expanding with two new teams and Riteish is said to have jumped at the opportunity. Our source says, “Riteish has named his team Veer Marathi and will be roping in the leading actors from the Marathi film industry.

In fact, this is a very timely move by him as he has just turned producer for a Marathi film.” A friend of the actor points out, “Riteish’s skills are just not limited to films. He already has an architectural firm. He is also involved in a technology firm that is into preventing privacy, has a film production house and now a cricket team.”
