Salman Khan has bought the rights of Malayalam film 'Happy Days'

Looks like Salman Khan is gearing up for his act as a producer. The star has roped in Puneet Issar better known as Duryodhana from Mahabharat to direct a film for his production house

The duo had earlier worked in Garv-Pride and Honour in 2004.u00a0

Says a source, “Puneet will direct the Hindi version of the 2007 Malayalam hit film Happy Days. Salman has already secured the rights. It is about a group of friends studying in an engineering college.

The film was later made in Telugu and Kannada. Tamannaah who featured with Ajay Devgn in Himmatwala starred in the South version,” Adds the source, “Salman may do a cameo in the film.” Incidentally, Salman is already producing a film starring Vinay Virmani in Canada and another project which stars Suraj Pancholi. Salman and Puneet remained unavailable for comment.u00a0
