Saving the rhino is now a cup of tea
Now, you can do your bit to save the one-horned rhino and its habitat in Assam by sipping on a cup of tea from the state
Oxford Bookstore has tied up with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to save the rhinos of Assam.
Proceeds from the sales of every estate tea flavours including Budlabeta, Hapjan, Khobong Sessa as well as Cha Bar blend and Organic Assam tea will go towards WWF’s conservation project.
Another interesting eco-friendly activity that you could be apart of this weekend is the free sapling distribution by Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) and National Society of the Friends of The Trees, in association with Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast. Species that will be distributed include Indian Laburnum, Deshi Badam, Jambhul and Kailashpati. Go ahead, make it a greener planet.
