Despite being a part of a recently released multi-starrer, this actress refused to promote the film. Now it turns out that she is upset with the film’s director, as he had tried to get too close to her during the making of the film.

A source says, “There has been a lot of speculation about why this actress was not keen to be associated with the film. It has emerged that director, who is said to be fond of other actresses in the film, wanted to take his friendship with this actress to the next level. During an outdoor schedule of the film, he called her to his room to discuss an important scene.

The actress refused to meet him alone at first, but when she agreed and turned up later on, the director had apparently stripped off his clothes in the room. She didn’t react to this but she clicked his pictures with her phone camera. Upon her return to India, she went to lodge a complaint with the police and submit the pictures as proof.”

This is when the director apparently got scared. “He didn’t know what to do and so he turned to his actor friend for advice. He was worried that this actress would create a scene. His superstar friend then agreed to rescue him from the situation by making peace between two. The matter was settled only after the actress was paid a cool R3.2 crore,” says the source.
