Two days ago, she posted on a social networking platform: “Been away too long, missing home. My room my dogs my terrace.”

Apparently, the tweet caught the family's attention and soon after, her mother Poonam Sinha packed her bags and headed straight to the shoot venue — Mathura — to spend some time with her daughter. This surprise visit lifted the actress’ spirits; she was seen beaming the on the film’s sets.

A crew member revealed, “Sonakshi was missing her family and that explains why she posted the tweet.

She was surprised by her mother’s visit on the sets on Tuesday.”

An elated Sonakshi then posted a picture of hers with her mother on the social networking site. She wrote, "One #homesick tweet is all it took!! Supermom to the rescue all the way to mathura straight on set!!!"

Our source from the sets says that Sonakshi has not stopped smiling since her mom’s visit. “She is extremely happy that her mother is in Mathura. She (Poonam) not only takes care of Sonakshi but fawns over all of us too,” adds the source.
