Sonu Sood's favourite past-time is strumming a tune on a guitar

I have been playing the guitar since my engineering college days at Nagpur.

Most engineering students are inclined towards music and I too wanted to learn an instrument. I love the guitar because it’s a stylish instrument to hold. As a film buff, I loved the style with which Feroze Khan held the musical instrument in Jaanbaaz, at the start of the song Har Kisi Ko Nahi Milta.

But while learning the instrument, I realised that most of our actors held it in the wrong position, which is kind of funny. In my initial years, I used to practise a lot and had mastered tracks like Sanson Ki Zaroorat Hai Jaise (Aashiqui), Chehra Hai Ya Chand Khila Hai (Sagar) and many of RD Burman’ songs.

I have lost some of my flair as I don’t get time to practice. I can’t travel with my guitar when I am shooting outside Mumbai. Whenever I get a chance, I love to play. Music is a great stressbuster and I feel that everyone should know how to play atleast one instrument.
