A group of activists belonging to right wing group Sri Ram Sene today attacked members of Team Anna Hazare who had gathered outside Patiala court complex here to support lawyer Prashant Bhushan.

The incident took place outside Gate No 2 at around 5 pm when Team Anna volunteers objected to the sloganeering by activists of Sri Ram Sene against Hazare and Bhushan who was attacked by members of the right-wing group yesterday.

Three persons were arrested for attacking Bhushan yesterday and produced before the court which sent them to judicial custody till tomorrow.

The activists from both sides had gathered at the court complex to witness the proceedings.

The Anna supporters objected to the sloganeering against Hazare and Bhushan by the Sene activists, following which an argument broke out.

The argument soon degenerated into a scuffle with the Sene activists beating up two of the five Anna supporters who were identified as Mohd Shoufi and Raj Kumar.

They were taken to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital by police.

One of the victims was kicked on his face and dragged by the Sene activists who said they wanted Hazare to clear his stand on Jammu and Kashmir.

They claimed they had attacked Bhushan for advocating plebiscite in Kashmir.
