Invention is the mother of all necessities. My style today is an accident, and not any creation.u00a0 One day I went to the sets wearing a suit. I later discovered that my trousers were a little loose, so I changed into a pair of jeans.

Then the shirt I was wearing wasn't complementing the jeans, so I decided to wear a scarf over it. That's how the whole 'look' came about.
Bollywood ishtyle
I like to follow Bollywood fashion. In the 80s, I sported long hair. But it is easy to ape my style. Every actor has fans who want to walk, talk and look like their favourite celebs.
But these youth are disappointed as their icon's style statement is much beyond their buying capacity. Keeping this in mind, I have always styled myself in a manner that is easy to copy. You don't have to shell out your entire salary if you want to look like me.
But, naturally
Nature inspires my style. Nature is the most original designer with a lot of variety to offer. When you see a patch of wet red mud topped with the green grass above it, you praise it. But if you ask a person to wear the same combination, that is red bottoms with a green shirt, he might end up laughing at you.But it may just look good on you. So don't be scared to look out for and choose a natural combo for yourself!
Feet fetish
I have always loved boots and being a dancer, I find them quite comfortable. The pointed shoes just adds to the oomph factor. Earlier Bada Saab use to design for me but now Irfan Khatri has taken over.
