Suraj Water Park makes waves

On May 28, 2012, Suraj Water Park celebrated its 14th anniversary. Arun Muchhala, the founder had a strong desire to serve the tourism industry and travelled all over the world to study the entertainment services before starting Suraj Water Park.

It is easily accessible from Mumbai and Thane by road and rail. It is on the state highway, and is a one hour drive from Mumbai city.  The entry fee for a child between 3.3" and 4.3" is Rs 410/- per head and adult above 4.3" Rs 525/- per head.

Safety and quality
The park has good infrastructure, hygienic toilet bath rooms, big green lawns, CCTVs, parking space, first aid, doctor at call facility, lifeguards and ambulance. It also has water filteration system, fire safety and trained staff to assist the visitors.

Awards galore
The resort has won various awards like Pride of Maharashtra from Govt. of Maharashtra (1999), Limca Book of Record entries and Golden Pony Award, Genova in 2005 and many more.
